NORFOLK - James A. Moore of 916 Spaulding Drive, the husband of the late Mrs. 
Sadie Moore and a Norfolk native, died Friday in his home.

He worked for Ballard's Seafood Co. 30 years and retired. He was an Army veteran 
of World War I. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Clarine Raiford, Mrs. Fannie Watson, and 
Mrs. Sadie Jones of Norfolk, and Mrs. Doris Davis of Chesapeake; a sister, Mrs. 
Maggie Oliver of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church by Dr. I. 
Joseph Williams. Burial, with military honors, will be in Calvary Cemetery. 
Graves Funeral Home has charge. The family will assemble at his home.
