Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, February 8, 1994 
Edna S. Moore, 95, of the 300 block of Walker Ave., a homemaker, died Feb. 5,
1994, in Norfolk Health Care Center.

Mrs. Moore was born in Norfolk County, Va. She was the widow of James C. Moore
and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a son, John C. (Jack) Smith of Chesapeake; a sister, Annie
Johnson of Norfolk; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mary H. Smith and Armstead Smith.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 1994 in Grace
Episcopal Church, 1400 E. Brambleton Ave., by the Rev. Areleous Elliott Jr.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Family will receive friends at her sister's home, 2917 Hollister Ave. The body
will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Thursday.
