Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, June 15, 1995 
Marquis Alonzo Griffin Moore, of the 1000 block of Hannah St., was born Nov. 16,
1994. He went home to the loving arms of his father on June 9, 1995, after a
lengthy stay at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.

Marquis was the son of Michael Griffin and LaTisha Moore. He leaves to cherish
his memory two sisters, LaShanta Moore and Shakeenah Moore of Norfolk;
grandparents, Rolan and Patricia Griffin of Virginia Beach; maternal
grandmother, Dorothy Moore of Virginia Beach; and a host of aunts, uncles and
cousins.

The funeral services will be conducted at Messiah Presbyterian Church, 1485
Johnston Road, at 10 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Ronald Evans. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Carlos A.
Howard Funeral Home. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The
family will assemble at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Friday for the processional,
and they will receive friends at Messiah Presbyterian Church after the services.
