NORFOLK - Geraldine Dorothy Moore, 98, of the 7000 block of Auburn Ave., passed 
away April 20, 2007, at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. She was born Nov. 11, 
1908, in Norfolk and attended Lott Carey School. She also held a Business 
Certificate in business writing from Locker Writing, Richmond, Va. She was a 
member of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Norfolk. 
Geraldine was a retired domestic engineer. She was predeceased by her entire 
biological family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her god family, George and Debbie Parker, 
Chellese Parker of Chesapeake, Ami L. Parker and Miles G. Parker, both of Newport 
News and a host of many friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Thursday in Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate 
Conception, 1000 Holt St. Father Ernest Bulinda will officiate. Interment will be 
in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at Metropolitan 
Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St., one hour prior to the service for the procession 
to the church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the 
funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at
