Helen A. Moore, 89, of the 2900 block of Lens Ave., died March 11, 1998, in 
Kinston, N.C.

Mrs. Moore was born in Pennsylvania and was a resident of Norfolk most of her 
life. She was the widow of Leslie E. "Jockey" Moore. She was a member of Christ 
the King Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include her daughter, Dolores Moore Hill of North Carolina; a 
granddaughter, Jane H. Hartsock and her husband Tom of Woodbridge, Va.; two great-
granddaughters, Mary Helen Hartsock and Caroline Grace Hartsock of Woodbridge, 
Va.; two nieces and one nephew in Pennsylvania.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at Christ the 
King Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family 
will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. in the church. Memorial donations may be made to 
a charity of choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, is handling 
arrangements.
