Mr. Marshall Moore, a retired steward of the U.S. Navy died at his late
residence on E. Bute Street, Saturday night, September 17th, after an illness of
four years.  The funeral was held from Grace Episcopal Church, Tuesday,
September 19th at three o’clock.  The casket was draped with an American flag
and a Naval escort accompanied the remains.  Rev. B. H. Harris officiated.  The
remains were laid to rest in West Point Cemetery beside that of his wife.  He is
survived by two sons, Mr. Marshall Moore Jr., and Mr. Worthy Moore.
