William Havens Moore, 65, husband of Mrs. Roberta Simpson Moore and son of the 
late Richard Clinton and Mrs. Mary Havens Moore, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 7:05 a.m. Mr. Moore, a native of Clinton, N.Y., and a resident of 
Norfolk for six years, resided at 163 Haven Drive.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary Moore Boone, of 
Johnstown, Pa., Mrs. Cecil Hooks, Miss Martinee S. Moore and Mrs. Carroll Dozier, 
all of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. W. H. Dunne, of Norwich, N.Y., Mrs. Mary 
Anderson, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Mrs. Jessie Cauley, of Hartford, N.Y., and Mrs. 
Nina Fitzsimmons, of Clinton, N.Y.; one brother, Frank S. Moore, of Norwich, and 
three grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments 
tonight at 7:30 o’clock.
