Virginian-Pilot  September 7, 1934
Mrs. Virginia Picknell Moore, aged 65 years, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. 
Charles Picknell, died at 2:40 o’clock yesterday morning at a local hospital. She 
was a native of Vermont and had been a resident of Norfolk for 45 years. She is 
survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Creekmore, of Princess Anne County; six 
grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Titus Yettaw, of Michigan. Remains will be taken 
from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, to St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock. Interment will 
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
