Norfolk Journal and Guide,Mar 28,1942  
The funeral of Miss Ella Moore, 28, of Oakwood, Norfolk County, who was fatally 
stabbed and died in her home March 15, was held at Oakwood Baptist Church March 19 
with the Rev. J. M. Johnson officiating. Her parents, a brother, sister, and other 
relatives survive. Hale and Company directed interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
