Norfolk - Retired Air Force T. Sgt. Lillian Elizabeth Moore, 50, of 2327 Cottage 
Ave., died Dec. 18 in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she retired after 20 years. she was a non-commissioned 
officer in charge of the newborn nursery at Malcolm Grow AF Hospital, Andrews 
AFB, MD, several years.

She was the stepdaughter of John H. Newby Sr.

Survivors also include a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Sharp of Norfolk; and five 
brothers, Melvin L. Moore of Dayton,OH, Army Maj. John H. Newby Jr of Walter 
Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, T.Sgt. George H. Newby of San Diego, CA, 
and Henry Moore and Leander Newby of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held Dec. 22 in Jones Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Charles 
Bowens. Burial, with full military honors, was in Calvary Cemetery.
