NORFOLK - Mary Kelley Moore, 70, of 8144 Beatty St., a native of Bloomsburg, 
Pa., and the widow of Joseph Hearst Moore, died Saturday in her home.
She retired after 20 years’ service as dietician of Christ the King Catholic 
School and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Women’s Club 
of Christ the King.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Anne Hoofnagle of Portsmouth and Patricia 
M. Dozier of Norfolk; a son, Joseph Kelley Moore of Manassas; and 10 
grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic 
Church by the Rev. J. Michael Breslin. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A 
prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel. The family will be at the homes of Mrs. J.H. Moore, 2202 
Pershing Ave., Norfolk, and Mrs. C.W. Hoofnagle, 4121 Weyanoke Drive, 
Portsmouth. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
