St. John Moore, 45, husband of Mrs. Florence Smith Moore and son of the late 
Charles and Mrs. Rosalie Moore, died yesterday at 12:15 a.m. at a Norfolk 
hospital.
Mr. Moore was a native of Alexandria, and had been a resident of Norfolk since 
childhood, residing at 716 Park Avenue at the time of his death.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, two daughters, five brothers, 
Leonard Moore, Robert Lee Moore, Joseph Moore, James Moore and Henry Moore, of 
Norfolk; five sisters, Mrs. Eva LaFoon, of Richmond; Mrs. Al Jennings, Mrs. E. 
P. Wheeler, Mrs. Margaret Adams, and Mrs. Madalene Jarvis, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church for services Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments tonight at 8 
o’clock.
