Virginian-Pilot March 9, 1985
NORFOLK - William Gordon Moore, 72, of 1019 Beachview St., a native of 
Portsmouth, and the widower of Mary Fentress Moore, died Friday in a hospital.
Mr. Moore had retired from a Civil Service job.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary M. Davis and Patricia M. Pugh, both of 
Virginia Beach; two sisters, Myrtle L. Palmer and Nellie M. Dudley, both of 
Norfolk; three brothers, Woodrow W. Moore and Robert E. Moore, both of Norfolk, 
and Earl D. Moore of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The family will be at 2084 Thomas Bishop Lane, Virginia Beach.
