Moore, died Friday in his home. He was a professor of Spanish at Old Dominion University and was a member of the German-European-American Society. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was an Army veteran. Other survivors include two sons, Louis A. Moore and Steven W. Moore, both of Norfolk; three sisters, Mary Mayo of San Diego, Virginia M. Mendosa of San Jose, Calif., and Martha S. Martian of Springfield; and four brothers, Richard R. Moore of Chesapeake, Edward L. Moore of Fayetteville, N.C., Robert C. Moore of San Antonio and George T. Moore of Dallas. The funeral will be conducted at 6 p.m. Sunday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. Vincent Connery. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, with Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge. A prayer service and a visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
