Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 10, 1930

Mrs. Nina P. Moorehead, aged 65, widow of Thomas P. Moorehead and daughter of 
the late Capt. George W. and Jane E. Stavro, died yesterday morning at 11:35 
o'clock at her residence, 723 Hughes Street. She was a native and lifelong 
resident of Norfolk. Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. William G. Stavro; two 
sons, Clarence A. and Fred L. Moorehead, all of Norfolk; four grandchildren and 
two brothers, George W. Stavro, of Norfolk and William G. Stavro, of Florida. 
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason Street, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 
10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

MOOREHEAD, NINA P. - At the residence, No. 723 Hughes street, Saturday, August 
9th, 1930, at 11:35 o’clock a.m., NINA P., widow of Thomas P. Moorehead, and 
daughter of the late Capt. George W. and Jane E. Stavro, in the 66th year of her 
age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, Nos. 610-612 East 
Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services MONDAY MORNING at 
10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
