Virginian Pilot October 3, 1967

Mrs. Ellen Victoria Marois Moorehead, 74, of 9321 Buckman Ave., died Monday in a 
Virginia Beach hospital.
She was the widow of Floyd Moorehead and a daughter of Victor and Mrs. Mary 
Contre Marois.
A native of Princess Anne County, she lived here all her life. She was a member 
of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Samuel C. Leach of Norfolk and Mrs. Gordon 
Phelps of Eau Gallie, Fla.; a brother, Clifford Marois of Virginia Beach.
The Office of the Dead will be recited at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk tonight at 7:30.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Wednesday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

VICTORIA MAROIS MOOREHEAD, widow of Floyd Moorehead and daughter of the late 
Victor and Mrs. Mary Contre Marois, in the 75th year of her age. The body will 
be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, to Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church for funeral services TODAY (Wednesday) MORNING at 10 o’clock. Burial, St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
