Virginian-Pilot July 16, 1922
Thomas P. Moorehead - The funeral of Captain Moorehead took place yesterday 
morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The mass was by Father Hartigan, the sermon 
by Father P. C. Blackburn, of Ocean View. Monsignor O’Farrell and Rev. P. P. 
Brennan were present. Selections were sung by the choir of St. Mary’s Female 
Academy. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were: J. M. Mason, H. 
E. Camp, F. H. Cox, A. Frausen, J. D. Wood and W. Connelly, all members of the 
Loyal Order of Moose.
