Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 4, 1946

Mrs. Florence B. Moose, 71, wife of John W. Moose and daughter of James J. and 
Mary E. Gaynor Heney, died suddenly yesterday at 7:50 p.m.
A native of Montreal, Canada, she was a resident of this section for 43 years, 
living at 220 West Fifteenth Street.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hilda Burns de Sierra; three grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Heney, all of Norfolk and two 
sisters, Mrs. Fred Watson and Mrs. Joe Shepleau, both of Rutland, Vt.
The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

Mrs. Florence B. Moose – The body of Mrs. Moose, widow of John W. Moose, who 
died Tuesday night, will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial 
will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30 o’clock.
