Virginian-Pilot August 9, 1922
Rosario Morello, 38 years old, died yesterday morning at 10:05 o’clock at the 
residence, 240 West Twenty-fifth street. He was a native of Italy, but had been a 
resident of Norfolk for the past 23 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary 
Morello, two sons, Joseph and Vincent Morello; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 
Morello; two sisters and three brothers. He was a member of the Woodmen of the 
World, the Eagles, the Italian Benevolent Association, the Sons of Italy 
(Portsmouth), the Italian Independent Association, the Sons of Italy 40, Tailors’ 
Union. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic church tomorrow 
morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. P. P. Brennan officiating. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
