MORGAN AT NOON TODAY The funeral of John Black Morgan, who died Sunday morning at his residence, 616 Boissevain avenue, will be held at noon today at the residence with the Rev. H.H. Covington, D.D., rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley. Mr. Morgan, who was 59 years old, was one of Norfolk's best known residents. He was head of the banking and brokerage firm of J.B. Morgan & Co., with offices in the Bankers Trust Building. He was born in Elizabeth City, N.C., but had made his home in Norfolk for 22 years. He was prominently connected with civic and church work in Norfolk for a number of years and at one time was a vestryman of St. Paul's Church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Jane Scott Morgan, he is survived by two sons, John Black, Jr. and Henry Cake Morgan; two daughters, the Misses Emily Cake Morgan and Elizabeth B. Morgan and one brother, F.M. Morgan. He was a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. F.M. Morgan.
