Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - August 18, 1956

George Miller Morgan, 66, husband of Mrs. Alverda Bowyer Morgan and son of 
the late Monroe and Mrs. Jeanette Williams Morgan, a native of Princess Anne 
County and a resident of Norfolk most of his life, died at the residence, 
6106 Granby St., yesterday at 12:35 a.m.
He was a Mary Jane Bakery salesman for 25 years.
Surviving, besides his wife, Mrs. Alverda Bowyer Morgan, are one brother, 
Fonzo M. Morgan and one stepson, Claude P. Murray, both of Norfolk; and 
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell and Williamson Funeral Home 
tomorrow at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
