Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 1, 1916

Mrs. Mattie A. Morgan, wife of J.P. Morgan, died Thursday night at her home, 301 
Duke Street, after a brief illness. She was a member of First Baptist Church and 
was greatly esteemed in Norfolk. She is survived by her husband and a brother, 
James M. Drewery, of Princess Anne County. Funeral arrangements have not been 
completed.

MORGAN - At her residence, 301 Duke Street, Thursday, March 30. 1916, at 12 
o'clock p.m., MATTIE A., wife of J.P. Morgan.
Funeral services from the above residence SUNDAY, April 2, at 2 o'clock p.m. 
Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
