Sharon O. Morning of the 800 block of C Ave. died May 8, 2004, in a local 
hospital. A native of Norfolk, she retired from Food Lion as a cashier. She is 
survived by three daughters, Charletta Morning, Selmika Morning and Demetrius 
Morning; two sons, Deshawn Morning and Edward Morning; her mother, Selma 
Morning; four sisters, Emma Tyson, Sandra Fields, Deborah Lee and Tonya Gordon; 
three brothers, Willie Morning Jr., Lindell Wright and Eric Morning; five 
grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by 
her father, Willie Morning Sr. 

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church, 
205 Gust Lane, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Allen R. McFarland. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery . The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Friday. 
Friends may join the family at 346 Nicholson St. Graves Funeral Home is in 
charge.
