Funeral services will be conducted Sunday Jan. 17 a 2 p.m. at Graves Funeral 
Chapel for Joe Willie Morring, who died Jan. 10 at a local hospital.

Mr. Morring of 1897 Greenleaf drive was employed at Norview school.  He had 
formerly worked for 20 years at the Myers Oyster House.  A native of Edenton 
NC, he had lived in Norfolk 30 years.

Surviving are one son, Walter Morring and three daughters, Mrs. Annie Tabb, 
Mrs. Edith Hines and Mrs. Gracie Williams, all of Norfolk;  three sisters, 
Mrs. Rosa Holley of Norfolk;  Mrs. Perola Wilder of Edenton and Mrs. Annie 
Bonner of Tyner NC;  and four brothers, John Henry Morring, Robert Lee 
Morring and William R. Morring, all of Edenton and Ledall Morring of 
Robinsonville NC.
