The Virginian Pilot and The Portsmouth Star Sunday March 25, 1956
Capt. Robert Eckardt Morris, 61, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 4 p.m. 
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. C.W. Lowry, of Norfolk; a son, Robert E. 
Morris, Jr., of Sarasota, Fla., and five grandchildren. He was a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk.
The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home pending funeral 
arrangements.

The body of Mr. Morris who died at a Norfolk hospital Saturday will be taken 
from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Magnolia Cemetery for funeral services 
at the graveside today at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Moultrie Guerry, rector of St. 
Paul's Episcopal Church.
