Morris, died at the family residence, 308 29th Street, Newport News, yesterday at 3:10 p.m. after an illness of seven months. She was a native of Madison, Me., but had made her home in Newport News ten years. She was a daughter of Mrs. Frances Aurilla Cherry and the late Henry Robert Cherry. Surviving her, in addition to her husband, are three children, Frances, Thomas S., Jr. and Carl Russell Morris; two sisters, Mrs. L.P. Wallace and Mrs. F.L. Smith and four brothers, Theodore Stewart, William Russell, Henry Robert and Paul Westley Cherry, all of South Norfolk. The body was taken to the funeral home of Graham & Sykes, Jefferson and Jackson Streets, and will later be removed to the home of her sister, Mrs. L.P. Wallace, 1328 32nd Street, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
