Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 30, 1938

Mrs. Alice Newman Morris died in a Richmond hospital  yesterday morning. She is 
survived by a brother, John D. Newman, of New York City and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery this afternoon 
at 12:30 o'clock by the Rev. C.M. Gordon, D.D., pastor of the First Christian 
Church, Disciples.
