Norfolk Journal and Guide,May 29,1954
George Morris, of 814 Pratt street, died suddenly May 18 at his residence. 
Funeral services were held May 23 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Sewells 
Point Road, with the Rev. H. L. McClendon Jr. officiating.

Mr. Morris was employed about 15 years by Powell-McClellan Lumber Co. Inc. of 
Norfolk.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with E. A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
