Mrs. Daisy Morris of 1317 Wide street died on Dec. 27 in a Norfolk hospital 
after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 1 at Metropolitan AMEZ Church at 1:30 
p.m.  Dr. J. D. Cauthen, pastor, officiated.

The survivors included Mrs. Morris’ husband, Howard Morris;  one son Wiley 
Morris, and other relatives.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Riddick Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
