Funeral services were held Sunday for the Rev. Edward M. Morris at Bethlehem 
Church of Christ Disciples, with the Rev. James Morris conducting.

A native of Norfolk and a retired employee of Paramount Bedding Company, the 
Rev. Mr. Morris was assistant pastor of Bethlehem Church and a member of United 
Lodge of Norfolk, a brother, Robert, National Ideal Benefit Society.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Morris and husband of Mrs. Julia Morris.

Besides his widow, surviving are a son, James E. Morris of Small;  a sister, 
Mrs. Rosa Dillard, both of New York City;  and a granddaughter.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
