Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday September 5, 1937
Edgar Newman Morris, aged 83, died yesterday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock at the 
residence of his daughter, Mrs. Charles G. Constable, 200 Georgia avenue, 
Ingleside, after an extended illness.  Mr. Morris was a retired railroad man.  He 
was a native of Isle of Wight County and had lived in Norfolk most of his life. 
Besides Mrs. Constable, Mr. Morris is survived by two daughters, Mrs. T.G. 
Broughton, of Norfolk and Mrs. L.L. Inabinet, of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Miss 
Nellie Morris, of Norfolk; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  The body 
was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home pending arrangements.
