Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, July 14, 2001 
NORFOLK - Elder Helena Morris, 88, of the 1100 block of Jernigan Ave., died July
10, 2001.

Born in Snowden, N.C., she retired from domestic work and was pastor of St.
Mary's Pentecostal Holiness Church, Norfolk. She was the daughter of the late
Rosana (Snowden) Baxter and the late Rev. Benjamin F. Baxter.

The widow of Walter Morris, she is survived by two daughters, Frances B. Wilson
of Norfolk and Carolyn Claude Morris of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sons, Carroll
Morris and wife Rebecca of Mount Holly, N.J., Vincent Morris and wife Mary of
Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host
of other beloved extended family members.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Christ Pentecostal Holiness Church by the
Rev. Moses Davis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is in
charge. The family will receive guests at 1009 Ave. E.
