The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark December 19, 1918
Mrs. Sallie Catherine Morris died at the residence of her niece, Mrs. E.J. 
Nalls, 324 West Twenty-eighth street, yesterday afternoon at 6 o'clock, 
following a lingering illness. She was 75 years old.
Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late Joshua Barnes and the widow of the 
late W.H Morris, Jr. She is survived by three brothers, George D. Barnes of 
Baltimore, Millard F. Barnes of St. Dennis, Md., W.W. Barnes of Portsmouth, and 
one sister, Mrs. M.W. Tabb.
Funeral services will be conducted from the residence of Mrs. Nalls at 3 
o'clock tomorrow afternoon and interment will be made at Elmwood.
