Norfolk Virginian Pilot May 22, 1942

MORRIS, MAGGIE C. -  At a local hospital, Thursday, May 21, 1942, at 1:10 
o'clock p.m., MAGGIE C., widow of Guy Morris and daughter of the late Mr. and 
Mrs. J.C. Webb, aged 67 years. Services at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial Avenue, SATURDAY AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock. Friends 
are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Maggie C. Morris, aged 67, widow of Guy Morris and daughter of the late Mr. 
and Mrs. J.C. Webb, a native of North Carolina and a resident of this section 
for the past 25 years, died at a local hospital, yesterday afternoon at 1:10 
o'clock after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at the chapel 
of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, Saturday afternoon 
at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. William E. Callendar. Chaplain, U.S.P.H.S., 
officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
