Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 21, 1944

Miss Lydia Anne Morris, daughter of the late Nathaniel W. and Mrs. Elizabeth 
Stone Morris, a native of Princess Anne County and a resident of Norfolk for 54 
years, died at a local hospital yesterday at 5:45 a.m. She is survived by an 
aunt, Mrs. Mamie Stone and a cousin, Miss Ethel Stone, both of Princess Anne and 
two great-nephews, William M. Bunting, of Norfolk and L.H. Bunting, or Portland, 
Ore.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home 
tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Jason Leon MacMillan, D.D., pastor of 
the First Christian Church (Disciples) of which Miss Morris was a member, 
officiating. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
