She was the widow of Montford H. Morrisette and daughter of the late William R. and Mrs. Margaret McBride Gordon, of Camden, N.C., but had been a resident of this section more than twenty-five years. She was a member of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church and was well known and highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. S.C. Lynch, W. Gordon Morrisette, D.D. Morrisette, of this city and Mrs. W.S. Metcalf of Johnson City, Tenn and A.R. Morrisette, of this city. Two brothers, W.T. Gordon of Edenton and L.S. Gordon of Elizabeth City; four sisters, Mrs. D.A. Cox of Moyock, Mrs. Blanch Burgess and Mrs. Peter Burgess of Old Trap, N.C. and Mrs. Claud Hope of South Norfolk also survive her. The funeral services will be announced later.
