He was a native of North Carolina, but had been a resident of Berkley a number of years and was in the sixty-third year of his age. He was a son of the late Lemuel P. and Mary H. Morrisette and is survived by a widow, Mrs. Emily Gordon Morrisette, brother, Joseph H. Morrisette, sister, Miss Sophia Morrisette of Elizabeth City, three sons, W.Gordon, Durant D. and Arthur R. Morrisette; two daughters, Mrs. S.E. Lynch and Miss Annie L. Morrisette; three grandchildren, Emily Hughes, W. Gordon Morrisette, Jr. and S.E. Lynch, Jr. He was a member of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church and Thomas Jefferson Council No. 16 Order of Fraternal Americans. The funeral will be conducted at the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Rev.W.T. Green, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, will conduct the service.
