He had been sick eleven days. Mr. Morrisette was born in Portsmouth, but had lived in Norfolk for nearly fifty years. He was a son of the late J.F. and Mrs. Fannie Hoge Morrisette. For many years he was a contracting painter with a large business in Berkley. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Annie C. Morrisette, two daughters, Mrs. J.A. Godfrey and Miss Helen F. Morrisette; three sons, Russell, Oscar L. Jr. and James I. Morrisette; one brother, John T. Morrisette; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the residence Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. W.L. Murphy, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
