Morrisette died suddenly at the home of his son-in-law, J.C. Billups, 531 Herman Avenue, at an early hour yesterday morning in the seventy-third year of his age. He was in apparent good health and out Wednesday, but was taken ill during the night, dying soon thereafter. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mattie L. Forrest and Mrs. J.C. Billups, both of Norfolk. He was a native of North Carolina, but had been a resident of this city for twenty-two years. He was a member of Atlantic Lodge of Odd Fellows and Elizabeth Lodge of Masons. The funeral will be held at Central Baptist Church of which he was a member at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Dr. Geo. W. Swope. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
