Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 15, 1951

Melvin St. Clair Morrisette, husband of Mrs. Emily Walker Morrisette and son of 
Mrs. Lucyndia Whitehurst Morrisette and the late William S. Morrisette, died at 
the residence, 340 Fairfax Avenue, yesterday at 2:30 a.m.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Albert 
Stewart, Jr. and Mrs. Purcell Sawyer, both of Hickory; a sister, Miss Alyma V. 
Morrisette, of Suffolk and six grandchildren.  Mr. Morrisette was a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk and was in the employ of the Terminal Cab Company.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today at 2 
p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
