Morrisett, widow of the late Joseph L. Morrisett, passed away at the home of her son-in-law, W.R. Etheridge, 146 North Reservoir Avenue, Brambleton, at 3:55 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The deceased had been in failing health for several years and at times was a great sufferer. For the past six months she had been confined to her room, but bore her affliction with heroic fortitude and Christian resignation. She was a devoted mother, and her godly example to her children is left to them as a precious legacy. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W.R. Etheridge, and five sons - Samuel M., James W., William S., Charles E. and Joseph E. Morrisett. The funeral will be held from Trinity M.E. Church, of which she was a member, at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. ******************************************************************** The funeral of the late Mrs. Elizabeth M. Morrisett was held from Trinity Methodist Church, Brambleton, of which the deceased was a member, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was numerously attended. The service was conducted by the pastor, Rev. R.N. Hartness, and interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
