Miss Mary Eugenia Morrisette, daughter of the late William T. and Mrs. Mary Tracy 
Morrisette, a lifelong resident of this community, died at a local hospital 
yesterday at 12:15 a.m. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She is 
survived by one brother, Charles A. Morrisette, of Norfolk; four nieces, Mrs. 
Charles M. Murphy, of Portsmouth; Mrs. L. M. Dunn, of New Jersey; Mrs. Jack Rowe, 
of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. John McLaughlin, of South America; and two 
nephews, William Morrisette, of Florida, and Vincent Morrisette, of Staten Island, 
N.Y.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
