The Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 9, 1953
Mrs. Gertrude Hodges Morrisette, 70, of 6204 Granby Street, died yesterday at 
6:30 p.m.  A native of Norfolk County, she had lived here all her life.
She was a member of St. Bride's Episcopal Church.  Her foster parents were John 
H. and Mrs. Josephine Hodges.
She is survived by her husband, William Gordon Morrisette, Sr.; one daughter, 
Mrs. H.W. Marwitz, of Norfolk; two sons, William Gordon Morrisette, Jr., of 
Norfolk, and John Hodges Morrisette, of South Norfolk, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Graham Funeral 
Home, South Norfolk.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
