The body will lie in view from 2 until 3 o'clock in the church. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Morrison resided at 2902 Bainbridge boulevard. He died of a heart attack in the Rosemont Christian Church while holding a pre-Easter service and communion, of which church he was clerk and deacon. Mr. Morrison had been connected with the Presidential Life Insurance Company for may years. He was a son of late John Robert and Nannie Rowland Morrison, and a life resident of the section. The survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ellie King Morrison; two daughters, Miss Mildred Mae and Miss Annie Elizabeth Morrison; a step-son, the Rev. Aubrey S. Tomlinson, of Laurinburg, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie E. Roane and Mrs. Fannie M. Herbert, of Rosemont; three brothers, T.O. Morrison, of Newport News, and H.L. and A.S. Morrison, of Portlock. ************************* John Robert Morrison - Funeral services for Mr. Morrison, of 2902 Bainbridge boulevard, who died of a heart attack while attending service at the Rosemont Congregational Christian Church Wednesday night, were conducted yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Rosemont church by the Rev. J. Frank Morgan, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Beecher L. Rhodes, D.D., pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. The Rev. O.D. Poythress, pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, sang "Have Thine Own Way Lord." Members of the Prudential Life Insurance Company acted as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers were Dr. L.C. Ferebee, Hugh Johnston, Charlie Gibson, C.E. Hollowell, W.H. Bradshaw and F. Travis Etheridge. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
