Herbert, at Edgewood. She suffered a stroke of paralysis Wednesday evening. Mrs. Morrison was a native of Norfolk but had lived near Rosemont fifty years. She was a daughter of the late J.H. and Mrs. Fannie Bernard Rowland She is survived by her husband, John R. Morrison, and these children: Mrs. H.E. Roane, of South Norfolk; T.O. Morrison, Baltimore, Md.; H.R. Morrison, Mrs. B.M. Herbert, J.R. Morrison, Jr., A.S. Morrison, of Edgewood; one sister, Mrs. J.W. Blassingham; one brother, R.B. Rowland. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Rosemont Christian Church and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.C. Hooke, and Rev. G.O. Lankford, a former pastor of the church, of which the deceased was a consistent member. The burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
