Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 27, 1922

Mrs. Mary Fannie Morrison, 83, years old, died at her home at Rosemont, 
Norfolk county, at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning after a lingering illness.  
She was born in Portsmouth, and had made her home in this section all of her 
life.  She was a daughter of the late John and Mrs. Nancy Culpepper Cotton and 
wife of Thomas Morrison.  Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, 
J.R. Morrison, six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  The 
funeral will be conducted at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Rosemont 
Christian Church, of which she was a member, by the pastor, Rev. W.C. Hook.  
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
