Born Feb. 25, 1912, William Henry was the son of Thomas P.W. Morrow and Frances K. Morrow. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane Regola Morrow. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Morrow Aunchman and husband Vernon; son, William Henry Morrow Jr. and wife Lauren; his sister, Eleanor Cordle; grandchildren, Kenneth William Aunchman, Alicia Aunchman Frye and husband Shannon, Theresa Aunchman Rose and husband Robert, Arthur K. Morrow and Holly J. Morrow; great-grandchildren, Logan J. Frye, Lance A. Frye and Mason J. Rose. Henry was a founding and lifelong member of the Church of the Epiphany and a member of the 29th division of the Army and veteran of World War II. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Trench Rats Chapter 4 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Henry retired from Virginia Power after 29 years. Having graduated from Maury High School, William Henry helped his classmates celebrate their 70th reunion this past summer. Henry, along with Jane, spent many volunteer hours at the Veterans Hospital of Hampton. Through his many charitable deeds and his wit, Henry made all who came in contact with him his extended family. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Epiphany today at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Richard Bridgford and the Rev. Mary Garner. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge. Appreciation goes out to Province Place at DePaul, his home for the past 6 ½ years and to DePaul Transitional Care Unit and Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memorial fund of The Church of the Epiphany, the Palliative Care Program of the Veterans Hospital or other charitable organization.
