She was 88 years old. She was a devoted wife of 55 years to William Henry Morrow; a loving mother of Margaret Morrow Aunchman and husband Vernon L. Aunchman and William H. Morrow Jr. and wife Lauren Turgant Morrow; a caring grandmother to Kenneth William Aunchman, Alicia Frances Aunchman Frye and husband Shannon, Theresa Gae Aunchman-Rose and husband Robert, Arthur Kimble Morrow and Holly Jane Morrow. Jane Morrow, "Aunt Jane," was a friend, advisor and loving aunt to her extended family in many states and three countries. In her youth, she was post master of her town and served in the Women's Army during World War II. She was an original member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She had been an active volunteer at the Veteran's Hospital in Hampton, the Sherwood Forest Seniors Club and the Christ The King Seniors Club. She was a past active member of the DAV Auxiliary, Chapter 4. After a full and active life, Jane now lives in the glory and peace of her maker. Her generosity and love will keep her in the hearts of her family and friends forever. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Brian Rafferty officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the church followed by a Christian Wake Service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the King Church Building Fund. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
