The Virginian Pilot Tuesday June 6, 1978
Mrs. Janie Q. Morse, of 854 B Ave., died Sunday in her home. She was the widow 
of Frank Morse.
She was a native of Hyde County, N.C., and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist 
Church.
Survivors include a son, Marshall Quimby of Portsmouth; a sister, Mrs. Pearl 
Robinson of Spring Grove; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Burial 
will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home has charge.
