A native of Currituck, N.C., she lived in the South Norfolk area 80 years. She was the wife of the late Allie A. Morse, and a daughter of the late Samuel and Mrs. Sallie Ann Ballance O'Neil, She was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church, and the Women's Benefit Association. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Curling, and Mrs. Pearl Sawyer of Chesapeake and Mrs. Alma R. Howell of Virginia Beach; two sons, Norman A. Morse, of New York City, and Melvin L. Morse, of Catonsville, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at Graham Funeral Home Wednesday at 3 p.m., by the Rev. Willis E. Joiner, of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
